There are some lotions which have been formulated using ingredients which are active in getting rid of the soreness from your face. There are also natural remedies which have been tried to be very effective in getting rid of pimples on the forehead.
1.) Applying Ice
Swelling, inflammation and redness caused by the pimples can be relieved through use of ice massages. The ice helps in improving blood circulation to the affected areas as well as tightening the skin pores. You can apply crushed ice cubes if you consider them convenient. After 15 minutes you can rinse your face to remove traces of the oil.
The white toothpaste you use to clean your teeth each morning is very effective in getting rid of forehead pimples. It has mint and active ingredients which will act on the pimples and get rid of the inflammation and bacterial infection which can be brought about due to the formation of pimples. You can apply the white toothpaste on the affected areas before going to bed. During the day you can as well use the treatment but ensure it remains in place for about three hours. After you apply the treatment at night, you can wash it off in the morning. Allowing the toothpaste to stay in place for a long period of time allows its active ingredients to act on the pimples for quick recovery.
5.) Apply Steam
Application of steam will open pores and allow your skin to breathe. This is very helpful in getting rid of dirt and oils on the skin. Bacteria trapped in pores can cause infection but steaming will easily remove them. You can fill a large container with hot water and allow steam to come out. By covering your head over the steam you will expose the affected area to steam which will initiate the healing process. After applying steam, you can wash your face with lukewarm water after which you will apply a moisturizer. Ensure you use an oil free moisturizer.
Garlic is an anti-fungal, antiviral, antioxidant and antiseptic agent. This makes it among the fast treatments for pimples. Sulfur in pimples is very helpful in quick recovery from pimples. Cut a fresh garlic clove into halves. After cutting into two halves; then take one half and rub it on the small pimples on forehead. After leaving for five minutes, you can wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat the process several time in a day to achieve quick relieve. You can as well eat raw garlic on a daily basis for you to purify blood.
7.) Baking Soda
Baking soda helps in exfoliating the skin hence releasing excess oil. It also helps in removing dead skin and dirt from the skin. You will have to make a thick paste of baking soda by mixing one teaspoon of baking soda with some water mixed with lemon juice. Before you apply the paste, wash your forehead skin with warm water. The application process is simple, just dip a cotton ball in honey and apply on the areas affected with small pimples on forehead. The honey should be left in place for about an hour after which you will be required to wash off with lukewarm water. By repeating the process two times in a day for a week you will get rid of the pimples completely.
Cucumber is rich in vitamins A, C and E; it is also rich in potassium. It has cooling and soothing effects on the skin which makes it appropriate in getting rid of pimples on forehead. You will have to crush raw papaya and extract the juice which you will apply on the pimples. The juice should be left on the affected areas for 15 minutes after which you will have to wash it off.
